In the wake of Kanye’s derogatory comments about Justin Timberlake during a concert in England last weekend, Bruno Mars has come forward to defend the outspoken rapper.
Mars shared, "I don't think you can be mad at a guy that speaks his opinion – whether you disagree with it or not. It's hard being in the spotlight, you're doing interviews and shows, and you want to just be politically correct so people like you and buy your albums. It takes a lot for someone to be honest in these kind of situations.
"That is what Kanye West is. He is going to speak his mind, you might not agree with everything that he says, but you know what the guy's telling it like it is in his mind. You can't be mad at that. At the end of the day, for me it's about his music. I think he's one of the best. I think his albums are incredible and he's pushing the bar [with] every album.”
