Ke$ha's Fashion Line Plans: From Capes to Roadkill

Taking advantage of a break from her demanding performance duties, Ke$ha was spotted out with new boyfriend Alex Carapetis in New York City on Monday afternoon (August 16).

The "TiK ToK" singer was all smiles as she took a lovers' stroll with her rocker beau after running a few solo errands earlier in the day in an all-black ensemble complete with a brimmed hat and combat boots.

Aside from spending time with her new squeeze and tending to her demanding stage efforts, Ke$ha recently told MTV News that she's ready to bring her unique style to store shelves - as she's currently working on a fashion line.

Of the sure-to-be interesting duds, the 24-year-old tells, "[My line] will be coming and there will be capes involved. I'm trying really hard to bring back capes. They've been out since the 1800s, it's about time they came back."

Along with the capes, Ke$ha also isn't averse to bringing roadkill into the design process, as she said, "I do [design my own stuff] and I work with people that help me. For instance they designed this hat. We find roadkill and put it on my clothes and recycled feathers."

Asked if the clothing has an offensive odor, she said, "No! I mean we wash it. But it is roadkill. I think it's important not to kill animals. I also think it's an honor to the animal if it's already dead and sitting on the side of a highway. I might as well wear it on MTV."
