Katie Price Ordered to Pay Up for Slanderous Comments

Paying for her past misdoings, Katie Price has been ordered to dish out "substantial" damages to her former manager, Claire Powell, as a result of lying about an alleged affair between the Can Associates Limited rep and her ex-husband Peter Andre.

The British glamour babe made the unfounded accusation during an appearance of "The Graham Norton Show" last October - with the show censoring the comments although tabloids ran with the story.

With Miss Powell being represented by Mike Brookes, he told Justice Eady in court today: "To be accused of infidelity, with one of her long-standing and high-profile clients, was obviously very damaging and distressing for Ms Powell - the most obvious reason being that the allegation was completely untrue."

While Miss Price did not appear in court, she has issued an apology and admitted that her comments were false - also agreeing to render payment to her former manager to compensate the reputation and personal damages.
