Taking care of some business, Katie Holmes was spotted out and about in Santa Monica, California yesterday (May 18).

The “Dawson’s Creek” darling was looking cute in casual in a plaid button-up shirt with cuffed jeans as she headed into a studio.

The night before, Kate and her husband Tom Cruise were spotted at a ceremony to honor Jerry Bruckheimer at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

Mingling with Nicolas Cage, Billy Bob Thornton, and Eddie Murphy, TomKat left afterwards and went to the SoHo House for dinner.
