We’ve been eagerly waiting for “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” to come out, and now the official trailer has been released!

Katie Holmes and Guy Pierce star in the horrifying thriller about a lonely child who moves in with her father and his girlfriend.

Pierce and Holmes’ characters live in a 19th century mansion that they are restoring, and it turns out the house has some serious problems with evil spirits.

“Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” hits theaters on January 21st, 2011, but the trailer is a taste of what’s to come.
