Over the past week she’s been a publicity machine and Kate Middleton's baby bump is definitely starting to show in a major way.
While chatting with a teenage girl at a charity event, the Duchess of Cambridge revealed that her bun in the oven is just as active and vibrant as her firstborn Prince George was when he was in the womb.
Though her pregnancy prevented her from performing the majority of her royal duties early on, Kate Middleton is making up for lost time this week.
On Friday (January 16) the Duchess of Cambridge kicked off her day with a visit to The Fostering Network in the Islington district of London, highlighting all the good work that goes on at the foster care charity. And of course, Kate looked marvelous in a dark brown Hobbs silk shirt dress that showed off her growing baby bump.
Making their traditional Christmas Day outing, Prince William and Kate Middleton joined Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry and several other members of the Royal Family for church in King’s Lynn, England on Thursday (December 25).
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in good spirits as they exited St. Mary Magdaene Church in Sandringham, and Kate kept her baby bump covered up beneath a long tweed coat.
She’s always been great with children, and on Tuesday (December 16) Kate Middleton showed up at the new 23rd Poplar Beaver Scout Colony in East London. Sporting a black Scout hoodie and skinny jeans, the Duchess of Cambridge learned about various disabilities and participated in some fun activities as part of the Scout Association’s “Better Prepared” campaign.
After the event, UK Chief Commissioner Wayne Bulpitt told press, "We’re delighted that the Duchess has been able to help us celebrate the launch of Better Prepared – a project designed to reach 200 of the most deprived areas in the country, so all young people can access life-changing, everyday adventure.”
Continuing their action-packed visit to the States, Prince William and Kate Middleton showed up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night (December 9).
The handsome heir wore a dark suit as he escorted his lady into the St. Andrews 600th Anniversary Dinner while fans and shutterbugs looked on. And while she’s already well into her pregnancy, the Duchess of Cambridge hid her baby bump well beneath the same ink blue Jenny Packham gown she’s worn twice before in the last year.
After a meet-and-greet with LeBron James, the Duke and Duchess hung out with the “Crazy in Love” singer and her “99 Problems” hubby at center court at the Barclays Center. Ms. Middleton was gorgeous in a Tory Burch coat with fitted black trousers as she chatted with Ms. Knowles, who donned a black pencil skirt with a buttoned blouse. Meanwhile, Jay looked to be enjoying his conversation with the Prince, as they both opted for more casual attire.
They’ve been a busy pair since arriving in the USA and last night (December 8) Prince William and Kate Middleton showed up at Barclays Center in Brooklyn to watch the Brooklyn Nets take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
And before the game got started, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got to have a meet and greet with Cavs star LeBron James, who is also nicknamed “King James.” After the game, LeBron was proud of his performance, which led to a 110-88 win for Cleveland over Brooklyn.
