She’s never been bashful about, well, anything, and Kate Gosselin had a blast walking the runway at the Derek Warburton ‘Real Fashion, Real Women’ benefit yesterday (September 12).
The former “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star cruised up and down the catwalk at the Empire Hotel with an ear-to-ear grin on her face.
According to the organization, the ‘Real Fashion, Real Women’ shindig was a partnership with Bottomless Closets to help women get style makeovers in order to land a job.
However, having Kate involved proved to be a bit controversial. Warburton told press, "We have all been in Twitter wars about Kate. They were attacking us for having her in the show. I responded saying, 'Listen, we are not paying her. She is doing this out of the goodness of her heart.'
"What's remarkable is every time we get a nasty tweet about Kate, she writes and apologizes. She doesn't care about the haters, but she cares about us, the charity. She must have apologized to me five times for what people say about her."
