Kicking off the week with a media appearance, Kate Gosselin was spotted arriving at NBC Studios in New York City this morning (September 12).
The “Kate Plus 8” star was all smiles as she stepped out of her chauffeured car, sporting a beautiful purple dress, and headed over to the “Today” show.
During her interview with Matt Lauer, Kate shared that she and her family would be hosting a website to keep their fans in the loop after her TLC reality show goes off the air this week.
She explained, "KatePlusMy8.com goes live together as a place where fans can go and follow us, so we're not just sort of ending."
As for the end of her show, Gosselin explained, "I got a call from TLC and I knew we were in the deciding place… and so it was not a surprise. Obviously ratings and everything else… so I braced myself and here we are."
"But there is sadness because it's the end of an era. I feel sad for my kids because of all the opportunities and they're now questioning what's going to happen. I feel sad for fans. They're devastated: You're the neighbor that's moving far away and we won't see you again. There's also been this fear because this has been -- although maybe not my career -- my job, and the way I've been providing for my kids for six years. So, you know, it's a little scary."
