Treating herself to a fun-filled night on the town, Kate Bosworth was spotted out at a swanky Valentino hosted cocktail party in West Hollywood on Thursday (April 29).

Using her bright red trousers to stand out from the crowd, the "21" actress was all smiles as she mingled with fellow guests including designer Pier Paolo Piccioli, actress Chloe Sevigny and designer Maria Grazia Chiuri.

In related news, it was recently announced that Miss Bosworth has taken a new role in "Goodnight Moon," which is a semi-autobiographical drama from Elgin James.

The film is getting underway as we speak, with co-stars including Juno Temple, Kay Panabaker, Leslie Mann, Chris Coy and Kyle Gallner.
