Kanye West is an American born rap star that originaly found his fame rapping to the beat in inner city USA. After making a break through in the music industry Kanye has gone on to create several top awards. Kanye is currently engaged to Kim Kardashian.
They’ve never been close friends, and it seems the animosity between Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa only continues to build.
Following a Twitter rant on Wednesday (January 27), the “Love Lockdown” rapper defended his words when asked, “Did you think you went a bit hard on Wiz this morning?” West replied, “I said what I had to say. I said what I had to say and I’m not saying anything else to you.”
It’s arguably one of the strongest tracks he’s put out in years, and Kanye West just unleashed “No More Parties in LA,” also featuring Kendrick Lamar.
The “Love Lockdown” rapper weaves lyrics about a night out on the town as well as his own celebrity prowess- “Any rumor you heard about me was true and legendary, I done got Lewinsky and paid secretaries… When did I become A list? I wasn’t even on a list.”
Ever the consummate performer, Kanye West tried his hand at auditioning for “American Idol” back in October, and the video just went live on the internet.
The “Love Lockdown” rapper stepped in front of judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr and Keith Urban, declaring, “My name is Kanye. I'm from the South Side of Chicago. I'm originally a producer. I always wanted to rap and no one really believed in me, so I wanted to try some things out, ya know?"
Following a season of laying relatively low, Kanye West is back from the studio with a pair of fresh ditties for all to enjoy.
The “Love Lockdown” rapper uploaded “When I See It” and “Say You Will” (featuring Caroline Shaw) to his SoundCloud page earlier this month, though nobody seemed to notice until musician Travis Scott added a screenshot of the songs to his Instagram page.
