New reports state that Justin Timberlake was approached by the majority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies, Robert Pera, about serving on board of the NBA franchise.
The two reportedly have become fast friends, over their mutual interest in basketball and technology.
The 31-year-old actor is intending to make "a meaningful investment,” and “plans to be active” with NBA franchise.
Timberlake isn't the first Hollywood star to become part owner of a NBA franchise, as Will Smith (Philadelphia 76ers) and Jay-Z (Brooklyn Nets) have beaten him to the punch.
