During promotions for her film "Safe Haven," which hits theatres on Valentine's Day (February 14th), Julianne Hough took a beat to cover the March 2013 issue of Self magazine.
After flaunting her perfectly toned bod for the Dewey Nicks-shot front page, the 24-year-old actress chatted about her fitness routine and her boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest.

On her fitness plan:
"When I was dancing on 'Dancing With The Stars,' I was 102 pounds and all muscle. Once I stopped, I gained 20 pounds in a month! I want to be healthy, I want to have kids and I want to live a long time. So, I'm eating well, working out and embracing my butt, curvy legs and hops. Besides, if you're too thin, you look older."
On her beauty secrets:
"If you want to do something fun, pick one thing, like shoes or a bag. I used to match everything. Like, I'd wear gold shoes, a gold belt, a gold skirt, a gold headband, all the way down to gold eyeshadow. I don't do that anymore."
On Ryan's support:
"From day one, I've said that I'm here to accomplish my goals whether somebody is in my life or not. I'd never want anybody to be in control of what I do. He knows that's big with me."
