Preparing to play a whole new set of games and surely a lot of walks, Josh Hutcherson showed off his newly adopted blue Pitbull named Driver in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (April 18).
Barefoot and sitting on a couple steps, the "Hunger Games" star wrapped his arms around his new four-legged best friend while wearing blue and white stripped shorts with a plain white tee-shirt while at one point even looking like he was going to give the puppy a smooch on top of his head.
Josh found the eight week old dog - who is missing two toes - through the California-based rescue group Hand Paws Hearts after the pooch sat in a municipal Los Angeles County shelter for 11 days with a broken leg after being dropped off as a stray.
Gushing about the new addition to his household, the 19-year-old actor told E! News, "He's literally the most well-behaved dog you have ever met, for a puppy, he doesn't chew things up, he's already almost housebroken and he's only 8 weeks old. He's incredible. He's doing great."
Hutcherson had to wait for Driver to undergo surgery for his broken little femur and one thing to duo has in common is their baby blues, as Josh explained, "His eyes are like that grey, silvery-blue pit eyes. They're so beautiful."
