The top models worked it in a retro-chic show, wearing 1970s-inspired brown and black puffy coats and long, fur-trimmed skirts. To complete their look, they donned leather headbands in their beehive-style ponies and accentuated their piercing eyes with cat-like liner and heavy mascara.
Continuing her climb up the supermodel ladder, Joan Smalls is featured in the latest spread for Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2015 collection.
Rather than hiring a ton of it-girls, the beloved designer brought back Ms. Smalls (who also starred in his Spring 2013 ads) and outfitted her in some seriously stylish selections from his forthcoming range.
Designer Olivier Rousteing told WWD he wanted to make the campaign more reality-based so he put his models in situations like playing video games and eating burgers- “You can’t eat caviar every day. I wanted to have power women in the campaign.”
She’s always up for a new project and Joan Smalls is nothing short of fabulous in H&M’s new holiday party trend guide.
In the spread, the gorgeous Puerto Rican poser shows off her flawless figure in a variety of lovely ensembles that are perfect for ringing in the New Year. Joan models metallic sequins, faux fur and plenty of nighttime shades, all of which are priced within H&M’s bargain range.
