Heading into her last week of performances, Jessica Chastain arrived at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York on Sunday (February 3) for a matinee of “The Heiress.”
Decked out in an all-black ensemble, the “Zero Dark Thirty” red-head carried a picture of her three-legged dog Chaplin as she went inside to get ready.
Said to be the favorite to take home the famous golden statuette at the Oscars for her role as a CIA agent on the hunt for Osama bin Laden, the actress will have to beat out Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, Emmanuelle Riva, and Quvenzhané Wallis for the honor.
This year’s Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 24, and will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane. Fans can tune in to the film industry’s biggest night beginning at 7/6 central on ABC.
