Taking a dramatic turn from her glamorous red carpet gowns, Jessica Chastain was seen sporting a not-so-haute arm sling today (July 13) on the streets of New York - no worries though, as the 'injured' arm is just for her role in the upcoming double feature “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby”.
The red-haired beauty has taken on the part of Eleanor Rigby staring opposite James McAvoy while the film explores "how a married couple deals with a life-altering experience from the perspectives of both the husband, McAvoy, and the wife, Chastain."
The double feature will have a “His” and “Her” version of the film directed and written by Ned Benson. Both installments are currently in production while expected out in 2013.
Meanwhile, fans of Miss Chastain can catch her alongside Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf and Guy Pearce in the Depression-era drama, “Lawless”, when it hits theaters on August 29.
