Jessica Alba and Honor Marie: Breakfast Bonding

Stepping out for a little mother/daughter bonding, Jessica Alba was spotted treating young Honor Marie Warren to breakfast in West Hollywood, CA on Saturday (August 28).

The "Sin City" actress proudly toted her two-year-old in her arms as they worked their way to family favorite The Griddle Cafe on Sunset Blvd for the day-beginning grub.

Keeping active to begin the weekend, Jess spent the previous evening out for dinner and chit-chat with her lady friends at Boa Steakhouse.

The sightings come as Miss Alba is in the midst of promoting her new movie "Machete" - which hits theaters on Friday, September 3rd.

The 29-year-old also just announced plans to star in Robert Rodriguez's "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World."

Robert, who also directed "Machete," told MTV of picking Jessica for his hit franchise, "I was so inspired, seeing her on [the 'Machete'] set trying to be beautiful for the camera and yet having to [run off] to change her baby's diaper. I thought, 'You know what, that would be great as a spy mom, I've got to write that in."

Sure enough, that's exactly what he did, as Rodriguez adds, "I wrote that into the script, based on her."
