Spending another evening tending to promotional duties, Jennifer Love Hewitt was looking lovely while out at Barnes & Noble in New York City on Wednesday (March 24).

Decked out in a stylish black frock with a blue scarf, the "Ghost Whisperer" actress smiled as she signed autographs while boosting interest in her new book, "The Day I Shot Cupid".

In related news, Miss Love Hewitt recently revealed the motivation behind her decision to shorten up her hairdo, telling Us magazine, "I needed to feel lighter! We just finished season five of [Ghost Whisperer], and I was just ready for a change."

Also doing her best to stay fit and fine, Jen dished of her recent efforts to drop 15 lbs, saying, "I try to work out three or four times a week and eat healthy and that's about it."
