Jennifer Lopez Finalizes "American Idol" Deal

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Jennifer Lopez is indeed headed to the “American Idol” judges panel, and she’s getting a hefty sum for her time.

According to an inside report, the “Wedding Planner” actress will received $12 million for her services on the show’s 10th season.

The J. Lo addition comes as a bit of a surprise, especially after her initial negotiations got out of hand with unrealistic demands.

A friend of Lopez told press, “She’s very excited.” Jen will be joined (most likely) by Steven Tyler when the show begins auditions.
