She’s pretty familiar with corrupt governments, given her experience in “The Hunger Games,” and Jennifer Lawrence is convinced that things will go downhill quickly if Donald Trump happens to win the Presidential election.
In her new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the “American Hustle” hottie voiced her opinion of “The Apprentice” star- “If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world. I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, 'I love Donald Trump because he's saying everything I'm thinking and I just can't say it because of the PC (politically correct) factor.’ And I'm thinking, 'You are absolutely right. That's who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect.'"
Lionsgate is anticipating a massive turnout for the opening weekend of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” and there’s a brand new trailer titled “For Prim” making its way around the internet.
Furthermore, the production company just announced, “Tickets will go on sale nationally on Thursday, October 1, 2015 beginning at 12pm EST/9am PST. Buy tickets in the first 24 hours to receive a bonus digital download of Mockingjay Part 1!”
Over the last decade, Jennifer Lawrence has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and she told the New York Times that all of her fame and fortune has come with a price.
The “American Hustle” actress explained how she copes with the anxiety brought on by her career- “I have a prescription”- though, life in the public eye is never easy. “I find a certain peace by thinking of me in public as sort of an avatar self. You out there can have the avatar me. I can keep me. And I just try to acknowledge that this scrutiny is stressful, and that anyone would find it stressful. So I’ve got to try to let it go, and try to be myself, and focus on important things, like picking up dog poop.”
During the “Piano Man’s” rendition of his beloved classic “Uptown Girl,” the “Hunger Games” gal and her “Trainwreck” partner-in-crime actually got up onto Joel’s grand piano and did a little dance while the crowd went wild.
Things just keep getting more exciting for Jennifer Lawrence, as it turns out she’s deep into writing a screenplay with Amy Schumer and they’re both going to star in the film.
During her interview with the New York Times today (August 26), the “Hunger Games” gal explained, “We play sisters. We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now.”
