Holding on to his female companion's hand on a chilly New York afternoon, Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted walking around the city on Friday (November 9).
The "End of Watch" star wore a scruffy beard, black down coat, blue knit hat, khakis, and brown boots as he chatted with his gal.
Though he's busy performing in the off-Broadway play, "If There is I Haven't Found it Yet," the 31-year-old actor recently found himself thrust into a different spotlight.
During the taping of her episode of "VH1 Storytellers," Taylor Swift revealed that her new album's title track, "Red" was inspired by a relationship she was in, widely believed to be her relationship with Jake, due to the timing.
She said of the origin of the song, "this relationship that I had that was, like, the worst thing ever and the best thing ever at the same time. I was writing this song and I was thinking about correlating the colors to the different feelings I went through. You have the great part of red, like the red emotions that are daring and bold and passion and love and affection. And then you have on the other side of the spectrum, jealousy and anger and frustration and you didn’t call me back and I need space."
