He always seems to find the coolest movie gigs, and Jake Gyllenhaal's latest flick “Demolition” just released a still image preview.
The “Day After Tomorrow” stud stars alongside Naomi Watts, Chris Cooper and Judah Lewis, all under the direction of “Wild” helmsman Jean-Marc Vallee. “Demolition” is slated to hit theaters on April 8th, 2016.
Joined by rapper/actor 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson), the “Brokeback Mountain” man and the “Sherlock Holmes” hottie were in the house for the New York City premiere of their new flick “Southpaw,” one of Gyllenhaal’s toughest projects to date.
Things are still coming together for the forthcoming “Suicide Squad” movie and it sounds like there may be a major change in the roster.
According to The Wrap, Jake Gyllenhaal has taken over the role of Rick Flagg from Tom Hardy, who was originally slated for the gig. Hardy’s film “The Revenant” is said to be running over its schedule, leaving little time before he begins the promotional duties for “Mad Max: Fury Road.”
What started out titled “Nailed,” has now become the much-anticipated political romantic comedy “Accidental Love,” and Millennium Entertainment has just released a preview trailer. The forthcoming project stars Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhaal, James Marsden, Tracy Jordan and Josh Brolin and was originally directed by David O Russell, though he wasn’t the one to complete the movie.
