Giving eager movie-goers a first look at their new film, Focus Features released the trailer for "Hyde Park on Hudson" on Friday (May 18).
The Roger Michell directed flick, which is based on true events, focuses around Franklin D. Roosevelt and his love affair with his distant cousin during the weekend when the King and Queen of the Britain visited upstate New York.
Going into further detail the film, which stars Bill Murray and Laura Linney is set in June of 1939 when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (Murray) and his wife Eleanor (Olivia Williams) host the King and Queen of England (Samuel West, Olivia Colman) for a weekend at their home at Hyde Park on Hudson, in upstate New York.
The film, which is seen through the eyes of Daisy (Linney), Franklin's distant cousin and intimate, will show a weekend filled with not only a special relationship between two nations but also a deeper look into Daisy and FDR's relationship.
