Trying to make the most of her time at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, Heidi Klum was spotted on her way to yet another runway show earlier today (February 18).
The “Project Runway” mama looked prim and proper as she strolled over to the Michael Kors Fall/Winter 2009 show, sporting a black knee-length dress underneath a black wool coat with a half-up-half-down hairdo.
Besides being in integral cog in the fashion industry, Heidi is also a humanitarian at heart. And now she’s brought the two interests together.
Klum is one of the faces of Oxfam’s Sustain Me campaign to encourage people to recycle clothing. She joins fellow hotties Natalie Imbruglia, Cat Deeley, and Jourdan Dunn.
Heidi told press, “I just love the idea of recycling clothing. To give those once cherished items a longer existence is just great. It’s also an essential tool for Oxfam to continue tackling poverty in the world.”
