She’s been knocking ‘em dead with her new hit show “Nashville,” and Hayden Panettiere is featured in the January 2013 issue of Esquire magazine.
The “Heroes” stunner also stars in a new video clip in which she tells one of her favorite jokes about Kermit the Frog trying to get a business loan.
Another one of Hayden’s jokes goes like this- “A traveling salesman stops at the nearest farmhouse and asks if he can spend the night. The farmer says okay, and tells him he can go upstairs and sleep in the same room as his daughter. The salesman goes upstairs, and as he enters the daughter's room notices another salesman in bed with her. ‘Sorry,’ he says. ‘I must be in the wrong joke.’”
As for her “Nashville” role as Juliette Barnes, a cold and cranky country singer, Hayden shared, "I kept apologizing after my first scene with [costar] Connie [Britton], saying, 'I don't mean it!' It's fun. You get permission to be openly nasty and get away with it."
