"Glee" Cast Has Britney Spears Excitement

The buzz began weeks ago when it was announced that Britney Spears was set to make an appearance on “Glee” and tonight (September 28) her highly-anticipated episode will debut.

Of performing alongside the pop sensation, “Glee” star Heather Morris gushed, "When I was younger she was, like, my idol '[I'm a] Slave [4 U]' is, like, the best video ever. I am, like, literally an inch away from Britney Spears, who I used to watch on television and, like, learn dance moves to. ... It's going to be Spearstacular."

Meanwhile, Cory Monteith told press, "I am very excited about performing the 'Toxic' number. It's going to be very cool," he dished. "It's going to be an interpretation of the song you would not see coming."

And, in an online interview, John Stamos revealed, “People that love this show or even like this show, they’re going to love this episode.”

He added, “I don’t feel like Britney stole my thunder…maybe a little. Well, it’s her show. [The episode is] called ‘Britney/Brittany.”
