Aside from her killer looks, Gisele Bundchen has some savvy business skills so it's no surprise that she topped Forbes' 2013 list of the world’s high paid models while holding the number one spot on the Models.com list of “The Money Girls.”
But now Bündchen has contested the $42 million figure that Forbes reported, which in return, caused the Internal Revenue Service in the US to investigate her finances.
"It's sad, because these people who write [the list] do not have my account number! I earn well, but it is not all this talking," she told mdemulher.abril.com.br in an interview.
"I have been audited in the U.S. because of the Forbes list. And frankly, whether or not I'm in this ranking, I do not care," she added.
The starlet’s money has been in the public eye several times this year, including when she and Brady listed their home for a whopping $50 million.
"I have the same interests day to day as any woman: I want to raise my children and be a good wife and work. What I value: Are my children are educated? Is my husband is happy? Do people feel a positive energy by my side?" she said. "[They] should have a journal to assess the knowledge, wisdom and love of people. This, indeed, is power!"
So next time you fret about your taxes, remember — you’re not alone!
