After its continued success, HBO granted its hit series “Girls” a third season.
Earlier this afternoon (January 24), Lena Dunham revealed the news on Alec Baldwin’s podcast, saying, “We're starting season three at the end of March. I'm so excited.”
The 26-year-old actress also dished that the third season is slated to have 12 episodes instead of 10. "I would love that," Lena said. "I think that a little more would be just a little more storytelling real estate, and it would be amazing. But you know, so I shoot four-and-a-half months out of the year, then I'm editing, then I'm doing press, then I'm writing, then I'm back."
This exciting news comes after the Dunham-helmed production won big at this year's Golden Globes, taking home an award for best comedy series and best actress in a comedy series.
