While he remains under the direct care of hospital staff, details of Gavin DeGraw's brutal early Monday morning attack have been made available.
According to the New York Post, the "Chariot" singer, a Big Apple native, was on his way home following a night out with friends when he was he was attacked by a group of assailants somewhere between 3:50 and 4:20 a.m.
As revealed by his spokesperson, Gavin continued walking after the 6th street and 1st Avenue incident, where he was then hit by a taxi cab, though he was not seriously injured.
While police don't believe the attack was a robbery, they say they are still actively investigating and that there has yet to be any arrests in the case.
As for Degraw, he is still under observation in Manhatttan's Bellevue Hospital, with no further comment being made at this time.
