Joseph Gordon-Levitt: 2012 Spirit Awards Fan Favorite

Getting in a little pre-Oscar action, Joseph Gordon-Levitt showed up at the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25).

The “Inception" star was a hit in the beach tent venue's backstage area as he donned a snazzy suit for the annual Indie celebration.

And Joseph wasn’t just a casual spectator this evening - as he joined Elizabeth Banks in presenting the Best Screenply trophy to Alexander Payne while also seeing his film "50/50" nominated for Best Feature.

The 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Gordon-Levitt's "50/50" co-star Seth Rogen handling the hosting duties.
