The “Hitch” hottie is glad to see that Tinseltown is getting more and more diverse these days- “It’s a great time. I remember reading scripts when I started in the business, nearly 15 years ago, and [Latino roles] were either nonexistent or written as the maid or a drug dealer. We’re no longer just that. I’ll play any part that challenges me. What’s important is that all races have choices.”
It’s always interesting to hear how our favorite stars gear up for the day, and Eva Mendes shared some of her primping tips in her April 2015 feature for Redbook magazine.
The “Other Guys” gal explained, “To draw attention to my eyes, I never line the outer corners, I keep them open. Another trick is, if you have a longer face like I do, when applying blush, blend it horizontally across your face [from cheek to cheek] so there’s a little on your nose, too.”
She gave birth to her daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling (with beau Ryan Gosling) five months ago, and on Wednesday (February 18) Eva Mendes was back in action filming a promotional spot for NY & Co in Manhattan.
The “Other Guys” actress looked beautiful in her retro-themed wardrobe, sporting a blue plaid dress and short curled coif as she smiled for the cameras.
