Transitioning from "Desperate Housewives" to the upcoming reality show "Ready For Love", Eva Longoria took a break from her always-busy filming schedule to put together the July 2012 cover issue of Amica magazine.
The 37-year-old actress appears in a silk jersey dress from Lanvin on the heavily airbrushed Mark Liddell crafted front page while responding to Zac Efron's recent comments about wanting to date her and commenting on her "squawking" laugh in the feature article.
Highlights from Miss Longoria's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Amica!
On her laugh being referred to as 'squawking':
"I do not understand what's so strange about the way I laugh, but I'm afraid to be alone to think (laughs). It has become a sort of trademark: Recently a lady in a restaurant, sitting across the room, came to present themselves after having heard from afar. He confessed to me recognized by the laughter."
On 'Desperate Housewives' coming to an end:
"The last slate was very emotional. At the end of the day no one wanted to leave the set and went on to drink and chat for hours, remembering all the more significant moments of the past eight years together."
On if she'll miss her Gabrielle Solis character:
"Very much so. Gabi is a brave and intelligent woman, always ready to do and say things that we'd all like to be able to imitate in real life."
On her response to Zac Efron recently saying that he wanted to date her:
"I am very flattered by that, although I do not know exactly how old Zac is (24, note) and I suspect that could put me in jail if I accepted his proposal."
