Always one to say exactly what’s on her mind, Elisabeth Hasselbeck has caused a bit of stir over the wardrobe Erin Andrews dons on this season of “Dancing With the Stars.”
According to Us magazine, Hasselbeck recently criticized Andrews for wearing skimpy outfits on "DWTS" after a peephole stalker, who is now serving a 2 1/2-year prison term, famously posted a nude video of the ESPN reporter.
Hasselbeck said, "In light of what happened ... and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room ... I mean, in some way if I [was] him, I [would be] like, 'Man! I just could've waited 12 weeks and seen this -- a little bit less -- without the prison time!'"
In response, Andrews told Access Hollywood she "cried" after hearing the remarks. "I think people can have opinions about the show, but my biggest complaint is she's a woman and a mother and it was a mockery of something I've lived through this last year. ... I felt like it was a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators."
