Emma Watson Debuts Short Hairdo in NYC!

In the States to promote her upcoming "Harry Potter" film, Emma Watson was spotted catching a cab in the West Village of New York City earlier this week.

Showing off a new short hairdo, the Hermione Granger hottie looked as cute as can be as she made her rounds in the the Big Apple.

As for the visit, Emma took to both her Facebook and Twitter accounts to inform fans about her Deathly Hallows Part 1 promotional plans.

She tweeted, "Hello New York! In the Big Apple doing some press for Deathly Hallows Part 1. It’s going to be a busy week… Em x"

Meanwhile, her Facebook post read: "After saying I’d keep it interesting I’ve now neglected you all for a week! So, at the moment I’m in New York, doing some press for Deathly Hallows Part 1 before university starts again in the autumn. Lots of things going on - it’s been a busy summer! I’ll be back on here soon, love Emma x"
