It’s been a tough few years for Potter fans since the conclusion of the “Harry Potter” film franchise, and now “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” has released an incredible new preview trailer.
In the clip, starring Eddie Redmayne, a nervous female voice announces, “Yesterday a wizard landed in New York with a case, a case full of magical creatures and unfortunately some have escaped,” as a message reads, “ JK Rowling invites you to return to the wizarding world.”
It’s been fun watching Eddie Redmayne develop as a bona fide movie star, however there was a time that he thought about calling it quits.
In his new interview with Details magazine, the “Les Miserables” hunk admitted that after his wins at the Oscars, Golden Globes, BAFTAs and SAG Awards, he had to decide if he wanted to continue his craft.
It’s no secret that the “Harry Potter” movies were massively successful and JK Rowling is back with a brand new prequel project in the pipeline.
Based on her 2001 Encyclopedia Beastanica, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” stars Eddie Redmayne, Colin Ferrell, Ron Perlman and Katherine Waterston and is slated to hit theaters November 18th, 2016.
The 33-yer-old Oscar winner is currently working on “Danish Girl,” a new film about transgender pioneer Lili Elbe, who was one of the first to undergo sex reassignment surgery almost 100 years ago. The production company behind the movie has released the first photo of Eddie as his character – in full makeup and a curly red wig.
After the party is the after-party! And, the biggest one in Hollywood is the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. For the second year in a row, the post-award show event featured a portrait booth, and the images are simply stunning.
So, how did it work? “As guests leave the red carpet and enter the main #vfoscarparty space, they’ll have the option to stop by the studio and stake a claim to immortality – or at least strike a few portfolio-style poses,” the magazine explained.
