Drew Barrymore rose to fame as a child star who has been very open about the emotional/physical problems that she faced. Drew Barrymore is one of the most known actresses in Hollywood, she has always has a full schedule of new movies to film.
Drew Barrymore once thought she got high whilst smoking fake marijuana on a film set.
The 42-year-old actress was shooting for 2010's 'Going The Distance' with Justin Long when she was tasked with smoking from a fake bong, but according to the prop expert Jeff Butcher, the blonde beauty believed she had actually smoked the drug, and both her and director Nanette Burstein thought she was high.
Jeff said: "There was a scene with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long where they smoke out of a bong, and it was kind of a mixed experience. [We used a] herb that looks like weed but doesn't get you high.
During her interview on the Netflix series “Chelsea,” the “Never Been Kissed” cutie confessed, "I put in my statement, about (our) divorce, the word 'failure,' because it's so honest. When you break up with somebody, you're like, 'Yeah, that didn't work,' (but) when you get divorced you're like, 'I'm the biggest failure. This is the biggest failure'... It's so shameful and hard to actually go through that, even privately...”
Her marriage is on its way out, but Drew Barrymore is more committed than ever to be a successful mother to her kids Olive and Frankie.
During Safe Kids Day on Sunday (April 24) the “50 First Dates” actress told attendees, “I think it’s good to show my kids I’m passionate and have a good work ethic and that you have to earn what you have in this world. (Motherhood’s) just made me such a better person.”
Clad in a Rebecca Taylor dress paired with rings by Rebecca Minkoff & Kenneth Jay Lane, the 41-year-old actress, author, mother and entrepreneur opens up about why being CEO of Flower beauty is ‘pretty gangster’, why girls can do anything, and making the choice to be happy.
After nearly four years of marriage to Will Kopelman, Drew Barrymore is headed for divorce court, and she told PopSugar that she feels her life is headed in a new direction.
The “Never Been Kissed” actress explained, "My life's mission and the only thing that matters as of now is that my daughters know what our lives were like, how we lived, and how much I love them. For them to know that they were not just loved, but, like, ridiculously, utterly, life-alteringly loved. That's the only reason I'm here now!"
Photographed by Jean-Paul Goulde, the “50 First Dates” dame truly embodies the concept of “Hot”- “Hot is a state of mind. It’s an energy. You’re hot when you’re motivated. It means you want it and you’re going after it. Hot isn’t about being on the A-list of having a hot body. It’s literally people who are on fire. Like Lena Dunham is on fire. Amy Schumer. Louis C.K. I think their brands of comedy and observational life stuff are some of the coolest I’ve seen in so many years.”
Given the many hats she wears on a daily basis, Drew Barrymore maintains her sanity by staying centered on her family duties first. In her cover story for the Fourth of July issue of Hamptons magazine, the “E.T.” actress discusses what balance looks like for her.
Drew declares, “It’s definitely challenging, but I really compartmentalize my time. Number one, it’s my kids. For me, waking up with them every day, having free days with them, working from home a lot, getting to do dinner, bath, and bed, is everything. My weekends are with them. I spend so much time with them that I’m actually excited when I get to step out of the house and go to a meeting. And then, things have to fall off the table. Sometimes it does seem overwhelming, but you just prioritize. You know you can’t do everything. You choose your battles. If you’re being the kind of person you want to be— which for me is a parent first—then you get excited about stepping away here and there and focusing on some other things. All of these businesses, as time consuming as they are, they let me be the kind of parent I want to be.”
