Enjoying some time in New York City, Drew Barrymore was spotted out and about in the West Village yesterday afternoon (June 29).

The “Never Been Kissed” actress looked lovely in a flowery dress as she stepped out of a photo studio after a photo shoot with Steven Meisel.

In career news, Drew is gearing up to begin filming “Whales” in which she plays a tree-hugging Greenpeace activist.

“Whales” is based on a true story about a Los Angeles reporter who endeavors to save three whales with the help of a small town news anchor.
