Every year, the Cannes Film Festival plays host to a massive fundraiser called the amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala , and on Thursday (May 21) some of Hollywood’s brightest stars converged on the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc for another round of fun.
On the occasion of its 300th birthday, the Martell Cognac French liquor brand is introducing a massive new initiative to connect creatives all over the world.
Fronted by “Inglourious Basterds” actress Diane Kruger, the campaign has been given the “Martell France300” moniker and will assemble 300 people from across the globe in the art, fashion and mixology realms.
After the party is the after-party! And, the biggest one in Hollywood is the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. For the second year in a row, the post-award show event featured a portrait booth, and the images are simply stunning.
So, how did it work? “As guests leave the red carpet and enter the main #vfoscarparty space, they’ll have the option to stop by the studio and stake a claim to immortality – or at least strike a few portfolio-style poses,” the magazine explained.
Always one of the most well attended fetes during Hollywood's biggest night, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party continued to live up to its reputation on Sunday (February 22).
Hosted by Graydon Carter at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, top names like Natalie Portman, Sofia Vergara, Emma Stone and Beyoncé were among the celebrities ringing in the 20th anniversary of the exclusive Academy Awards soiree.
