While he's been busy promoting "Playing For Keeps" ahead of its December 7th release date, Dennis Quaid also finds himself dealing with a rocky patch in his personal life.
Having revealed that he and his now former wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, were parting ways back in October, the 58-year-old actor has taken the next step by officially filing for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (November 30).
In the submitted legal documents, Quaid - who is already twice divorced - has volunteered spousal support while also petitioning for joint custody of he and his ex's 4-year-old twins, Zoe and Thomas.
The "Vegas" star's marital demise comes after previous fizzled out goes at wedlock with "Sleepless In Seattle" leading lady Meg Ryan and "Stella in Stripes" actress P.J. Soles.
