Demi Lovato Takes on Day 3 of "X-Factor" Auditions in Miami

Arriving at the Fillmore hotel today (July 25), Demi Lovato prepared to tape "The X-Factor: Bootcamp" in Miami Beach, Florida.

The 19-year-old singer had her coffee ready in her breezy white outfit, green jacket, and very high heels.

Speaking to MTV News on Sunday, the former Disney star talked about her judging style. "Well, you know, I try to be positive as much as I can," she explained. "But sometimes you've just got to tell people that singing is not for them. When I hear a good singer, sometimes I critique them so that they can be better. And it's not that they're bad."

Move aside, Simon. Miss Lovato claims that sometimes she comes across as harsh adding, "I'm really honest on the show and sometimes I come off as the toughest judge. I guess you can say I speak my mind."

Although when asked which judge she is most in line with, Demi answered, "But there are more times I relate with Britney [Spears] [better] than Simon, actually. Maybe because we're the two girls on the show."

As for a Britney/Lovato collaboration, the new judge says, "It would be an honor, but no plans yet."
