Showing off his sculpted arms, Daniel Craig was spotted out and about in New York City, New York on Tuesday (June 12).
With a backpack slung over his shoulder, the "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" actor strolled through the Big Apple in high-top tennis shoes wearing a nude colored tee-shirt and dark jeans, and in attempt to conceal his identity he wore a worn out baseball cap and carried dark sunglasses in his hand.
Daniel just finished up filming for the highly-anticipated Bond sequel, "Skyfall" and upon preparing for the role he said, "I reread the books, he read the books, we watched the movies, we talked about the Roger Moore movies, the Sean Connery movies, the whole thing. There's a sort of tone that's in all those movies that you can't try to recreate. If you do, then it's a pastiche."
The 44-year-old actor revealed that director Sam Mendes agreed that the movies couldn't be re-created adding, "If you do, then it's a pastiche. Neither Sam nor I want to make a pastiche of an older movie. But you have flavours of it."
Mr. Craig also admitted to Total Film magazine that it was a good thing filming was delayed because of issues with studio MGM saying, "The MGM thing was a silver lining situation where, for the first time, we had a lot of time to work on the script. We weren't publicly allowed to say we were doing anything, but we were secretly meeting. It wasn't full bore until everything was given the green light, but we were very optimistic it would happen."
