With his new movie "Skyfall" set to hit theaters on November 9th, Daniel Craig amped up promotions by landing on the October 2012 cover of British Esquiremagazine.
Looking as if he slipped into his James Bond character, the 44-year-old actor posed with a smug smile in a black Giorgio Armani suit for the Terry O’Neill shot front page while dishing about everything from being James Bond to hating the spotlight.
Highlights from Mr Craig's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to British Esquire!
On playing James Bond:
It really shook me up and made me look at the world in a very different way. Fame and fortune, for want of a better expression is, erm, f***ing scary. My background isnot well off. And there aren't many people you can ask for advice about [dealing with] that."
On the difference between himself and James Bond:
I'm not James Bond. You know me well enough to know there is a difference between Bond and me. I know I'm not funny-funny. So I have to work at it to find these comic moments. But if there's a good story, then I feel quite confident. Then I can wink at the crowd and hopefully the sudience can go along with it."
On being in the spotlight:
"I've been working non-stop. I'm sick of the sight of me, so I can't imagine how other people feel about it."
