Kristin Davis’s Magical Night at The MET

Looking fabulous, Kristin Davis was among the stars on-hand at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Saturday (May 3).

The “Sex and the City” star donned a gorgeous black frock as she paraded around the swanky Costume Institute Gala fete.

Meanwhile, Miss Davis admits that SATC was good for her career, but she still thinks she would have been “okay” without the hit.

The actress, who plays Charlotte in the series and movies, said, “I think I would have done okay without it, but I don’t think any of us would have had this kind of career at this age if it hadn’t been for the larger thing Sex and the City turned out to be, culturally.” But she doesn’t take it for granted. “I do feel incredibly lucky.”

Meanwhile, Davis is shocked at just how thin Hollywood is becoming and the pressure. “You get a lot of criticism out in the world or on the Internet about how you look,” she explained.

“Fat here, fat there. Hippy this, hippy that. That has been my entire career. But never at work. No one at Sex and the City has ever asked any of us four girls to lose weight. Thank God.”
