Giving it their all in a time of great sadness both on screen and off, the cast of “Glee” released a touching and heart-felt tribute episode tonight (October 10), honoring of the death of Cory Monteith and his quarterback character, Finn Hudson.
27-year-old Lea Michele delivered a heartbreaking yet beautiful rendition of the song, “Make You Feel My Love” for Finn’s passing as her character Rachel.
“Glee” is getting ready to air its Cory Monteith tribute episode, and Lea Michele just opened up to TV Week Australia about her experience with the tragedy.
The 27-year-old actress/singer explained, “For me personally, I’ve lost two people: Cory and Finn. We had a beautiful memorial for Cory in the auditorium and some of the cast members sang and people spoke about him. It only felt right that we would do the same thing for Finn, so I felt it was very therapeutic.”
It’s still hard to believe that Cory Monteith is gone, and the late actor’s girlfriend Lea Michele sounds angelic on the just-released “Make You Feel My Love” from the forthcoming Monteith tribute episode of “Glee.”
Titled, “The Quarterback,” the “Farewell to Finn” installment will also include songs “If I Die Young, “Fire & Rain,” and “I’ll Stand By You.”
A brilliant accolade to fans of “Glee,” the hit drama aired the first promo for it's upcoming tribute to late star Cory Monteith at the end of tonight’s (October 3) episode.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the series’ October 10th episode will write off Monteith’s Finn Hudson character and show the other characters, including Lea Michele's Rachel, grieving his death.
