Conan O’Brien ditched his usual monologue to pay a moving tribute to 'masterful' comic Garry Shandling who died on Thursday (March 24).
The Late Night with Conan O' Brien host paid tribute to the funnyman, who suddenly passed away earlier that day at the age of 66, sharing how the late star supported him after he lost his hosting job on The Tonight Show in 2010.
The crimson-haired comedian explained, “Everybody this past week has been struggling to explain what this man has meant, what his leaving television means to us personally, but let’s face it — there simply are no words that can encapsulate the sheer magnitude of what Dave has achieved these past 33 years. It cannot be done.”
She’s a woman of many talents, and Kristen Stewart showed up on the “Conan” show on Wednesday night (February 8) to plug her new movie “Clouds of Sils Maria.”
However, talk quickly turned to the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” actress’ recent cameo in Jenny Lewis’ music video for “Just One of the Guys” in which Stewart dressed as a boy and hammed it up for the camera.
After the party is the after-party! And, the biggest one in Hollywood is the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. For the second year in a row, the post-award show event featured a portrait booth, and the images are simply stunning.
So, how did it work? “As guests leave the red carpet and enter the main #vfoscarparty space, they’ll have the option to stop by the studio and stake a claim to immortality – or at least strike a few portfolio-style poses,” the magazine explained.
Back in the 1995, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith breathed new life into the classic cop drama genre with “Bad Boys” (“Bad Boys II” followed in 2003) and now it seems there’s a third movie in the works.
During his interview on “Conan,” Mr. Lawrence discussed the forthcoming flick with host Conan O’Brien in light of recent rumors.
Causing quite the stir in the Hollywood headlines on Monday (June 23), Conan O’Brien reportedly got slapped with a penalty from the IRS after missing nearly $8,000 in back taxes on his family’s home in Westerly, R.I.
Making sure to avoid an unnecessary drama, the LA-based comedian stated that he would have paid the IRS sooner if he knew there was an issue. Via a statement this afternoon, the "Conan" host told press, "As soon as I was made aware that the tax bill on my parents' house was being mailed to the wrong address, I paid the bill immediately. The problem has been corrected. I am grateful to the reporter at the Westerly Sun who spotted this error and notified me."
There’s been all kinds of action as part of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil over the past few days, and our favorite stars were apparently tuned in to see Team USA defeat Ghana on Monday night (June 16), with plenty of Twitter action afterwards.
With the arrival of social media, there’s no longer any barrier between our favorite celebrities and their adoring fans, and last night (April 13) there were plenty of posts from the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.
Zac Efron added some shots to his Instagram account with the message, "What a crazy night! Thanks to all the fans who made it possible! #mtv #MovieAwards,” while Jessica Alba included Mr. Efron in her own post, "W these #stunnaz @ritaora #zacefron #mtvmovieawards #sincityadametokillfor #abs.”
