Christina Aguilera: Skull 'n Bones Babe

Having spent the past week busily promoting her just-released album Bionic, Christina Aguilera was spotted enjoying a little downtime in New York City on Friday (June 11).

The "Not Myself Tonight" singer donned a skull and crossbones t-shirt as she joined a guy pal in exiting her Big Apple hotel.

In related news, Miss Aguilera recently spoke with VH1's Behind The Music about dealing with depression, as she explained: "I do battle with depression. It's something that is always right below the surface. And it's almost seductive to go to a place of sadness and darkness. I'm truly thankful for the darkest times in my life."

Christina added, "I definitely don't choose the safe way of living or expressing myself but I wouldn't have it any other way."
