His star continues to rise with the overwhelming popularity of his new film “Star Trek,” and yesterday (May 17) Chris Pine was spotted hanging out in Silver Lake, California shirtless.

The “Smokin Aces” stud opted for some physical activity and enjoyed a jog before practicing his lines for an upcoming project.

The day before, Chris was also spotted sans shirt as he sipped a cup of coffee and read the daily editions of The New York Times and The LA Times.

Coming up next for Mr. Pine are the films “Carriers,” “Small Town Saturday Night,” and “Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey.”
