Chris Brown: I Didn’t Fake Cry at BET Awards

He gave a moving tribute to Michael Jackson at Sunday night’s BET Awards, and Chris Brown insists it was the real deal.

The “Kiss Kiss” singer broke down crying while singing “Man in the Mirror” and despite rumors to the contrary, he says his tears were genuine.

An inside source claims it was all a show and that Brown’s bodyguard gave him tear-inducing eyedrops just prior to going onstage. “He rubbed it in and he started crying.”

But Chris’ rep says “Brow was moved by the opportunity to pay tribute to his idol,” and that it was all just a little emotionally overwhelming.
