Always one of the most well attended fetes during Hollywood's biggest night, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party continued to live up to its reputation on Sunday (February 22).
Hosted by Graydon Carter at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, top names like Natalie Portman, Sofia Vergara, Emma Stone and Beyoncé were among the celebrities ringing in the 20th anniversary of the exclusive Academy Awards soiree.
Keeping a close eye on popular fashion trends, Pantone has named marsala the official hue of 2015. Named for a wine from Sicily, Marsala is a reddish brown color mixed with notes of caramel and Pantone Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman is certainly a big fan.
She explained, “It’s a color that’s equally as versatile on the body, in cosmetics or in the home, and that really makes it universal. The best way to get accustomed to a color is to use it in a print with other colors you really really love. So if you’re just trying to introduce it to yourself, do it with small accents that are less expensive.”
