Derek Hough Checks in on Recovering Cheryl Cole

Popping in to check on his friend, Derek Hough was spotted arriving at Cheryl Cole’s Surrey, England residence on Thursday (July 22).

The “Dancing With the Stars” professional showed up in an escorted car with shades on and rushed inside in order to avoid causing any paparazzi chaos.

A source told The Sun that because she’s cooped up in her home all day, she has upped the amount of security by installing heat sensors and new cameras, as well as hiring security guards to keep over-concerned fans at bay.

The “X-Factor” judge hasn't received any threats but thought it would be wise to update all the precautions as she believes a more secure domestic situation will help her return to full strength sooner.

Ms Cole has been out of commission ever since she contracted malaria a few weeks back in Tanzania.
